Trump did it in 2018 too. I don't generally care. We had emergency broadcast alerts on TV and the radio growing up. This is just upgrading the process.

It just seems like a slippery slope when the government can make an emergency whenever they see fit by sending an alert to everyone’s phone.
We've been getting them on our radio and TV's. We now have the option to opt out. Before you had to turn off the device to opt out.
