I started mining at ocean with some bitaxes but I’m lost when it comes to bolt 12. Is there a way to do this without start 9 or umbrel?

yes! i run core lightning node on my start9, and just a matter of following the well written instructions on Ocean's website for how to configure.
i havent tried it yet, but may also be possible to use phoenix wallet as they have bolt12 as well and that may be preferred over running your own lightning node.
