This forces people to make transactions they don’t want to. It’s like negative interest rates at a bank. By HODLing I make block space cheaper for those that voluntarily wish to transact. By HODLing I reduce the supply that can be purchased which helps price. This proposal is a hard no for me. Sounds like MMT CBDC babble.
