Yeah, I actually had the chance to grow up with at least 4 of them. Certain smells remind me of them sometimes. One great-grandmother, I spent most of the first 2 years in high school at her house at night. I helped her get ready for bed and stuff. I actually taught her to play Go Fish. When she passed away, she was in the hospital. She called every member of our VERY large family into her room one at a time. I was one of the last she called in, along with my grandmother (her eldest child) and my grandfather (her son-in-law). She took her last breath in my arms. I'm grateful for that experience.

I didn't lose any of my grandparents until about 8 1/2 years ago. I have one remaining. He's going to be 93 this year.
