I notice that all nostri.chat events show up in the regular timeline, regardless of how they are tagged. It works great in your widget of course, but on the regular timeline those events lose all context.

What's the end-game here? If something like nostri.chat became popular would you expect clients to adjust the ui and either show the tags or filter them?
