I haven’t expected this movie to be good. And I haven’t expected it to be that good.
I guess it gives you the same kind of feeling I had as a kid in 1990 when I watched Alien and Alien 2 the very first time in former communist East-Germany at the neighbour`s kid who already owned a VHS recorder. 😮
Alien 2 is still the best Horror Movie ever, but to see one that close these days surprised me.

I remember seeing Aliens as a kid in late 80s. Damn was I scared while walking back I the nigh. Alone in the dark where aliens by severe corner. One of the few moments from my childhood Instill remember as if it was Yesterday. I shall see Romulus soon.
Agreed. Saw Alien Romulus in theaters twice. Really quite good. Loved all the retro throwbacks. Felt like a high intensity version of one of the originals.
