Hot take: “Bitcoin” is a less-than-stellar name for the protocol and short sells the reality of its massive potential. It makes it come off as a silly collectible.
It’s like calling the internet “Bitbook” simply because it relates to information technology. There are books on the internet, but it’s obviously more far reaching than that.
