For Bitcoincore users:

you can configure your node to mimic certain Knots restrictions by adjusting -datacarriersize (e.g.: -datacarriersize=40) in your bitcoin.conf file. This makes it possible to restrict OP_RETURN transactions without using Knots.

I will try to do that on my computer.
