I think this is a fundamental disagreement between generations born before the internet and after it.

Anonymity as a default is a feature, not a bug, of the internet.

My man here is trying to throw shade on anonymity like the Federalist AND Anti-Federalist Founding Fathers didn’t discuss all their big ideas with nyms.

yeah, but no one is arguing you are not “free* to post under whatever handle you like. I am making the argument to persuade you to stand being your ideas voluntarily.

And privacy IS important in your personal affairs, finances, etc. I’m talking about with respect to posting in the public square, not using the internet.
