I was always suspicious of that Binance-adjacent wallet because of the name “trust wallet”. Fate loves irony.
Trust Wallet users lost at least $7M after a malicious update to the wallet’s Chrome extension secretly stole seed phrases.
Binance co-founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) says all verified victims will be fully reimbursed and urges users to disable v2.68 immediately and upgrade to v2.69.
Mobile apps and other browser extensions were not affected.
