- do this diet - it's a craze, people get bored and stop spending on it

- do this stupid exercise because you have to buy stuff to support it, people get bored and stop spending on it

rinse repeat. the crazes of today are the same as the crazes of the 70s 80s 90s 2000s 2010s, they just get a slight modification, a new name and branding and the 🐑 go for it because 'all their friends' are doing it

meanwhile those of us just doing the tried and true mundane diet and execise quietly stay healthy and laugh at the fools doing hyped up things that are so extreme that they are unsustainable long-term...

almost no one I meet who parrots the crazes of the day has any clue what the point of it is, how it supposedly works, or why they are doing it.

another one you could add is people who spend thousands of $ on new workout clothes before they attempt to drop 50+ pounds

most of what OP said are running jokes on mon, wed, fri when my husband and i workout with our PT who doesn't take supplements 🤣

It's all marketing and lies that work by people copying each other to 'fit in' or 'keep up to date' when in reality it's just the same shit again and again.
