Berbers are Caucasian as are North Africans in general with light admixture with SSA's.

The diversity in Africa is due to there being more than one distinct population group there with the West Africans (Associated with but not limited to the Bantu language group); East African's (Associated with but not limited to the Nilotic language group); Central African Pygmies and Khoisan/ Bushmen all being distinct population groups.
