yes, it is. but global feed in its current form wont survive when we have user volume, would need to be curated somehow.

Is that because of performance issues with loading so many events into the timeline?
that is a concern, but I think clients will need to learn how to handle this regardless.
imo when we have a lot of users global feed will be low signal. can you imagine if twitter did global feed filled with 0 like posts? also global feed is vulnerable to spam attacks.
