It’s not useless. I’ve deleted over 10k of my notes. Sure they probably exist on relays somewhere, but they’re not easy to access. I challenge you to see how many of my notes prior to Dec 2023 that you can find.

Even if a NIP were created to signal that your private keys were compromised, people would just make clients and relays that ignore this NIP.

Idk, we gotta come up with ideas how to make private keys not accessible to anyone.

I can publicly say I’m leaving nostr and really leave it and never come back but someone will be pretending me that you might not even know. For example you can’t find yegorpetrov anywhere but only on nostr to verify if someone on behalf of me is posting notes or asking for money!

even with the best search in the world, i don't think you'll find many of my old notes. the only way you'll probably find them is if you try and find a relay operator that actually kept my notes and see if they'll give them to you. relay operators are not really incentivized to store notes unless they have to though. well, unless they're spooks 😂.
