I would say quote > repost (boost) > zap > comment > like
Arguably, quote or repost is even more valuable than a zap. Since more people can see it, more people can zap (potentially)

It's social media, yes greater reach is important but it doesn't express value.

However, I say zaps will ultimately organize content because everything else will become noise. Yes, I know Primal has this feature already.

I don't know about that experiment but I can imagine a circle jerk gone wild.
If I remember correctly, he had bots that would zap. And he would make people trend arbitrarily. Some were temporarily banned from trending. It caused a lot of drama at the time. But he proved his point: that zaps alone aren’t a good measure of trending
Good point again. I didn't say it would be a walk in the park, but I see no alternative at the moment for breaking through the noise.
I also prefer comments and quotes because I'm interested in improving my reasoning more than my stack size. For posterity tho, zaps will highlight stuff better even if nostr collapses. People receiving the sats will have the capital to push this forward. Or they'll spend it on hookers and coke. Everybody got to eat, innit? 😅
