Do backup power supply units have notifications/apps for when power cuts off?

Any good recommendations for a 400w-500w

Are we talking about UPS's? If so, most do you just have to read the manual and it's not like they have an app they use snmp so you can monitor them.

Yes UPS. That’s great, I dont know what’s an snmp, does it allow you to monitor over the network/remotely?

Yes, snmp is a standard device monitoring protocol used is most enterprise class devices but it's also used in some OTS consuming UPS devices.
