I consider Bitcoiners those who are off zero.

[780263]

And what is off zero?

Bitcoin is a finite asset. It would mean, any amount of sats you own and hold regardless of "volatility" and understand why you do.

[780264]

I know i own sats,but how would i know i own bitcoin?

Sats (satoshis) are the smallest unit of Bitcoin. You will own 1 full Bitcoin if you own 100 million satoshis.

[780264]

What should I buy SATS over BTC? Is there a diff and what is the advantage?

Sats are a tiny unit of bitcoin. Your question translated to fiat is “What should I buy cents over dollars?”

When you buy dollars you’re buying cents and vice versa.

Ty

There is a piece of me for everybody

There is only 1 Satoshi.

Does the import-only addresses you do not own those Bitcoin?

Correction: import watch-only

If your sats or Bitcoin are sitting on an Exchange address like Binance etc.. you do not own them, they do, until you withdraw them onto an address you fully control vis a hardware wallet like Trezor or Coldcard which are used to sign (authenticate) outgoing transactions.

[780265]

How about bluewallet or electrum?

I would go for Electrum, nothing against Bluewallet but i had more issues with it that i can count. Please have a look at Sparrow wallet.

After that it will depend on the amount of Bitcoin you own but Sparrow is an excellent start. Read their blog too

[780268]

Is it available on mobile?

These are desktop wallets last time I checked. Correct me if I’m wrong

And what are import-watch only wallets/addreses?

I use big marh wakanda coins for privacy features prior to sending to coinbase wallet

What's that again?

[780269]

Lol

No. It's web based, again if you hold small amounts of Sats, best is to use Bluewallet.

[780269]

That's just feature to "watch" a particular address by entering its public key. You have no control over those coins, it just a watch only feature.

[780270]

Even if you held the private keys?

Yep. If you want to move them, you need to import using your seed words as recovery.

[780271]

But if you can move them, means you cotnrol them, correct?

This ls confusing and complicated for people like us who are unable to afford those cold storages,or even a computer to just to try how these Bitcoin Transaction signing work...plus the fact were in the 3rd world and the only option we have is talking to english speaking people...

We are so Fucking Dumbdown and Late!

I live in the "3rd World" too, i understand your frustration. A hardware wallet is needed if you have a significant amount of Bitcoin hence justifying an investment into one. Your 12/24 seed words will be enough to start with. Sparrow wallet is free, create one, protect your seed words at all costs, do not share them with anyone but your soul. Withdraw from exchanges to that address.

Your operational security will evolve as your Bitcoin treasury grows over time.

That's already way better than keeping them on an exchange.

[780294]

And sparrow wallets are for desktop and laptops...you will never umderstand..

Then go for Bluewallet. It looks like you have a smartphone with an internet connection, that makes you privileged. Then i suggest you spend time in research Nostrich 🤙🏻

[780318]

What is import watch-only address?

So owning 100,000 is considered
