I use Nextcloud and Mastodon, both hosted via a machine running Yunohost.

Yeah nice and simple, not sure I'd have done it all from Debian. Didn't know Umbrel was also able to run Nextcloud, that's new to me, looks slick.

They do have an excellent UI

Starting from the favorite router firmware: OpenWRT.

Then for personal server yunohost, for nodes raspibolt. As hardware I like SBC like RPI and odroid.

What about you?

I mainly just host Bitcoin stuff and proxy some services out to clear via a VPS.

For files, I'm a paying Proton user that makes regular offline backups.

Haven't delved into the router stuff yet, but that seems like the next logical step.

I want to dig into start9 soon.
