By the way all of this LNURL & LN address stuff could be improved/fixed if LND implemented BOLT-12. No need for the HTTP workarounds as the BOLT-11 requests and responses can travel directly over LN.

Nostr should probably support BOLT-12 as well. Might encourage LND to get it done.

Is there a NIP for it already #[2] #[3] ?

My understanding is that it's still draft but “pretty close” (works in CLN as you probably know...) But a NIP would presumably refer to the BOLT itself, not implementation details?
