What if the recent wave after wave of hysteria in the US is all explainable as a societal reaction to clearly losing the Iraq and Afghanistan wars?

The Russia hysteria, the Anti-trump hysteria, the Covid hysteria, diversity equity and inclusion hysteria, the China hysteria

That's what Media is supposed to do. I thought you meant people were in hysteria

They were and some still are. For example, I know people who really believed Trump was Hitler and that the vaccines worked. This drove their decisions and actions at key points in time.
