Well it's all well and good to be like fuck you man. But at the same time you really gotta step back and ask yourself why you think your cause is more righteous than someone else's. And answer it without repeating what everyone else says.
Everyone wants a sense of purpose and to belong to something greater than themselves, and most of the time when they think they've found it, it's a bunch of self righteous asshats stroking their own egos.
Everyone thinks their cause is just and they're ready to start a revolution. Especially when they're young. Then they grow up and have an opportunity to break away from the conditioning and echo chambers so they can see different angles.
There's a fine line between "fuck you for not diggin what I'm laying down man" and "fuck you for not having the same interests". The latter sounds absurd, but more people end up leaning towards that. Sometimes it's because of their unconscious mind.
You want to be hype about your passions, but you kill the idea when it becomes toxic... And that's the hard part, recognizing when it becomes toxic. (I speak from observance and personal experience)
Crypto culture isn't exactly known for it's warm welcoming communities.
Old Jack was right about being able to change it. But that's up to the younger ones, really.
