Your struggles won't be recognised tho, they will call you "naturally gifted".
They tend to ignore the many hours of study, trial and error.
In general, if you state your struggles after becoming successful, many people will admire them more than the struggles of an unsuccessful person.
However, there will always be people that will call you lucky or naturally gifted. I agree 100%
