Yea, there are no rules. I just want to learn how to use the tools effectively to further improve my art. I can make acrylic paintings look like watercolor as well. But then again what's the point of using acrylic? I think it is interesting to use the paints for their strengths.

Yea for sure. I often don't use things as intended. This sketch was made entirely out of highlighters 😂 highly doubt they were intended for city sketching. It's just what I had on hand.
