The more I use it the less I like Liquid Glass. In Sovran I decided to roll my own frosted glass buttons and thats serving me well. I initially really liked Liquid Glass but anytime I open an Apple app it annoys me.

Did you see how they toned down some of glass effects (made it more frosted) in the latest beta? There are some noticeable differences in how prevalent the effect is across apps now. I am curious where they land in the end.
I like aspects of it. Moving elements inline to give the content more room is nice. Some of the glassy visual details are not really necessary, I find.
I did see that but it still feels kinda "muddy". I think others don't see that so I might need to just try to unsee it and work with it.
That's how it is sometimes. When you just use things and don't think about them, they may feel just fine. But if you scrutinize hard, you find all kinds of flaws. Good to look at things both from the intuitive and the analytics perspectives.
