Saw a construction project starting for a child counseling center. Huuuuge building. My guess is many millions going to be spent.

Then my mind drifted to how run down some of our parks are. Super old and in some cases dangerous playgrounds. No spaces for larger kids to do sports. Truly sad.

If only some of those millions were diverted to creating new and fun places to explore, maybe kids wouldn’t need as much counseling.

But what do I know 🤷‍♂️ I’m just a kat.

They don’t even need the playgrounds.

They don’t even need the toys.

They don’t even need spots built for them.

We need more parent counseling centers so the kids can be parented, not given smart phones, not helicoptered, not kept inside in front of screens, not entertained on screens at restaurants, not medicated when needing engagement, not sent to schools turned daycare, not sent to daycare.

Fix the money so one job per household can be a thing.

Fix the money so people can be taught to parent and they can be home to parent.

Fix the money.

Kids are naturally creative and social if we don’t take that from them.

Good conversation. Good kitty.

Very insightful observation

How on earth could they profit from kids being outdoors playing?
