I read this beautiful take on bitcoin the other day.

My man said that Bitcoin was the mutiny of the competent.

If you want bitcoin to go to zero then remove the incentive to mutiny.

I took me some time to really get it.

Bitcoin might very well be the biggest FU in history.

And I support it very much.

I also welcome governments in trying to repair athe issues that bitcoin can solve, then we all win.

But knowing governments, I’m just gonna keep stacking.

Love this.

Also, new slogan just dropped for nostr:npub1mutnyacc9uc4t5mmxvpprwsauj5p2qxq95v4a9j0jxl8wnkfvuyque23vg.

Literally just found out about this.

Mutiny wallet just sounds metal.

I like metal.

Atlas. Shrugging

I’d rather we all win tho

So would I and keep trying. The programming is deep. Everyone takes their own time. If you want all to win, do your bit to help but certainly don’t beat yourself up when the desire is for eyes to remain shut

Indeed it’s deep, my grandfather has watched me go jail for a crime I did not commit, he watched me fight this case for over a year and still get sent to jail, this also forced me to postpone my education.

He says that he doesn’t think it’s right, but one must always comply with the government.

The he still trust in the government, trust is so strong that when people in government are busted for inside trading, faking Masters, inside hiring, all the dirty Norwegian government does - it doesn’t faze him, the government taxes his pension twice and when I ask him about it he just nods and says that’s how it’s supposed to be.

I really don’t get it, but good for him believing in something I guess..

Trust dies with his generation, all the younger ones in my family have little to no trust in our government, well we trust that they will take as much money as possible from the common man.

That generation buult the institutions. They dont realise theyve been corrupted and its harder for them to face.

Am sorry for what you have been through. Sounds terrible. As societies corrupt, the only pillar that holds a system together is a sense of justice. We are at a time where that is becoming very rare

Yeah that is true.

Thanks, It’s been rough, but I can feel the sun shining!

Hi🙋🏻‍♂️. Welcome to #Nostr.

Hi and thanks!

You have any recommendations?

Where do I start to learn how to use this platform?

I never used socials much in the first place.

A good idea for follows is to follow someone you really like, then follow everyone who they follow, look through your feed then just alter as necessary. Everything else is pretty straightforward, though it does depend which #Nostr client you're using. #Introductions

Yeah I’m getting around to that. Looking for people I like and then adding their list. I’m using Damus at the moment, I have not tried any others.

Any recommendations?

Thanks I’ll have a look!

💯 but wtf does “defi” have to do with anything 🧐

Well you tell me?

I was under the impression defi was the environment where all this happens?

I’m wrong several times a day so if there’s a need to correct, please do :)

Hmmm 😂

I mean, bitcoin is a decentralized financial system in and of itself i suppose. But “defi” is a shitcoin term that implies all sorts of degenerate cryptardation (in my view)

As I thought. I don’t have this same opinion tho, defi is just decentralised.

I stake and provide LP for a few coins and I wouldn’t call it degenerate cryptardation, nice word btw.

I earn fees on all the cryptardation that happens, so maybe I’m just a degenerate lmao…

I call it better letting it sit in my banks spending account while it’s waiting to be spent on food, beer and tits.

l have btc separate from all this so I guess I can somewhat relate.

love this. 'mutiny of the competent' 😮 🤩
