Something I realized a while back, which might be useful context for you, is that we’re labeled as “far-right extremists”, because it is true, but not in the way most people assume.

The political compass is usually drawn with economics on the horizontal axis (left vs. right) and liberty on the vertical axis. That’s the standard framing.

But if you flip the axes, by putting liberty on the horizontal and economics on the vertical, you start to see a different picture.

In that view, anyone who gets called “far-right” is often simply more liberty-focused than the person applying the label.

Next time you see someone labeled as “far-right,” flip the axis, and you’ll notice the label suddenly makes sense.
