Google News has almost replaced Twitter as my source of daily brain rot. not because it's better but of course because i have banned myself from using Twitter in an effort to improve productivity. but now Google News has replaced it with me spending hours reading articles over clickbait titles.

i will probably have to ban myself from reading anything beyond the "Top Stories". the stuff that really wastes my time is all further down the page in the "For You" section. That's where all the stuff about Electric Cars and Caitlin Clark is hiding.
