You can’t take back talking shit in real life, maybe that’s a good thing here. Forces you to think before you post. If you make a mistake in your post, it’s okay because we all do it. We’re humans, not machines. This community is new to me and feel more welcome here than other social networks. Real people want to connect and build each other up.

Instead of deleting, someone will have to live with that post and really think about their viewpoint (hopefully!). Might actually bring real discussions.

This is also a great point because I think nostr is closer to irl compared to Twitter because you can’t delete. The way people act face to face vs behind a keyboard is not even comparable most of the time. At least nostr brings you one step closer to being civil.

What? Social media? I think it’s a net positive for humanity simply for the information flow. It’s the first time in history where a nobody pleb can bring truth to the world with ease. And nostr/zap is a game changer for that same group imo, especially in the times to come. This is the anti WeChat.
