"Getting started with Lightning is as simple as clicking a link."

This statement from nostr:npub1mutnyacc9uc4t5mmxvpprwsauj5p2qxq95v4a9j0jxl8wnkfvuyque23vg is very powerful. Technology works best when it fades into the background and the product or service just works. We're getting closer and closer to this realization every day, thanks to innovating developers like those behind Mutiny. Keep up the fantastic work.

It's a self custodial app. The Lightning node runs on your phone.

right but this is the first thing you’re presented with, would be better to open with a backup process imo

Oh I see what you're saying. Sorry. First thing's first. Backup your seed words. That makes sense for on-boarding.

Backing up can always take place in the settings. However, we do a back up prompt as soon as it has a balance.

We are taking the position of not encumbering users right off the bat just to look at a bitcoin app.
