Thank god Monero don't have any "central authority " !

Is that right? You don't have to hard fork based on the core team, everything is backwards compatible?

And why would you want backwards compatibility? This only would harm the XMR environment security

In case you weren't happy with a change and didn't want to trust a central authority pushing updates?

Alternative hard fork could be proposed

It's permissionless. You can't control what software users decide to run or stop forks. It's how Monero came into existence in the first place.
