fair. although often when someone is referred to as “institutionalized,” (admittedly slightly different semantics) the meaning is that they have been subject to the rules of an institution. in my experience, many people - for better or worse - institutionalize themselves but around these spaces you see these unique independent thinkers: the lone wolves, the open minded… maybe, the institutions of one? and in the age of the sovereign individual it is seemingly possible for an individual to be a prominent institution.
