interesting view. feels the same for me, for different reasons though.

for me, btc is a transition thing.. in the end, gift economy will make it imo.

I've given away a lot in my life, but it also requires integrity and awareness. Giving and receiving need a balance. I think a purely gift-giving culture without money is unlikely, and #Bitcoin is still new and the most modern and best solution for money in the digital age we're now entering. We're simply still in the early stages. What are 17 years for #Bitcoin? Money is good because it's not dependent on personal feelings and we can buy anything with it. Everyone appreciates money and the empowerment and autonomy it provides, not being dependent on the whims of others. Financial freedom is an important part of freedom.
