Dear God... Try opening an old windows laptop that hasn't been opened in 2-3 years... Completely unusable. How does everyone put up with this garbage OS?
The only I software I can think of that requires Windows these days is competitive multiplayer games with Windows-enforcing anti-cheat. I tend to not like that style of game anyway. Literally everything else seems to run better on Linux.
