Maximizing profits is great. What's not great is how corporations use corruption in the government to change regulations to give themselves an advantage, or use lawfare to destroy their competition, or issue infinite "ownership" shares (stocks) where each new issuance reduces the percentage of ownership of existing owners, and we're all gaslit by them calling owners "investors."
But I know that's too nuanced for most people.
Why and how matters more than the what ! But is regulation the way ?
