Was at the park with my kids yesterday and my son was talking to another kid and my son was telling him that Tik Tok is CCP spyware. The kid said “I know they are spying on me but I don’t care, I don’t have anything to hide”.

I couldn’t keep my mouth shut. I told him he should care and that an attitude of indifference is how societies sleepwalk into tyranny.

Needless to say, his mother apparently didn’t like my advice. She told him they had to leave and got out of that park without delay.

My son said “I think you scared that kid a little.”

And I replied “I feel bad for that kid. Such poor parenting” and continued pushing my daughter on the swings.
