Replying to Avatar Smart Growth

The bitcoin dad pod was recently discussing raspberry pi's no longer being usable to run a node due to storage limitations. Since no normal human is running TB of ram, we're already referencing hard drive space. What's the deal that I'm missing here?

I think there is a confusion between RAM and storage here. To run a Bitcoin node you do not need TB of ram, a few GB are enough. Raspberry Pi can handle running a node in terms of ram and processing power but to store the ever growing blockchain a SSD or external drive is necessary

I know, this I say confusion. It seems to me we could add hard drives to an array near indefinitely.
