The friends that faded could be taking a break, enjoying summer, revisiting an addiction or were always on the way out and this could have been their last attempt at social

Regulatory overreach is also killing the buzz. Nothing left to zap from other than Alby. No easy way into lightning like WoS and Apple killed the buzz on Damus.
Yeah, we need a better solution, Alby is invite only and has a small limit, Wos is banned in US, Phoenix is gone in US, ect.
