I wouldn't worry about too much, I blocked that twat months ago and am sure most people have done the same by now.

Pros and cons of Nostr.

"mute user" only mutes in your feed. Everyone else can still see it.

Notes could be censored on the relay level but that has obvious drawbacks.

Maybe the way of the future will be that anyone with significant reach posts to their own relay that doesn't accept notes from whomever they block.
