Yeah... I tend to apply Occam's razor to complicated geopolitical events. Attacking Israel is the express goal of Hamas. Iran is their financial backer. 2-3 weeks ago the USA paid $6 billion to Iran. Suddenly Hamas has a shitload of rockets. Can't confirm a casual link there but it's pretty sus.
