For use with Langchain, does a ChatGPT 4 Premium sub + token do it, or do you need to have cleared the waitlist for API access?

Above I’m using the GPT4 API and I think Langchain only uses the official APIs, but I imagine someone has hacked together some workaround using the ChatGPT interface for its GPT4 grabbing the auth token etc… worth googling for unofficial GPT4 API etc.
