What happens when doctors only accept Bitcoin and 99% of the world doesn’t have enough Bitcoin to get the needed care? Do they just become debt slaves? Anyone have any thoughts around this?

If there was only bitcoin used for money and you didnt have any or enough....you are very fucked in that world as in theory there is less mechanism for government to take peoples savings and push it into helping those people. Would require the btc holders to give them sats.

Way to get enough: work or charity.

Everyone in that case would only accept bitcoin, and that means everyone with a job would get paid in it.

Doctors have (are forced) to comply with ethical rules.

I know they took the Hippocratic oath so technically they have to help, but that doesn’t mean those people won’t be billed.

right, but in history there have always been classes, they (the doctors), just like the "wizards", in ancient society, have added responsibilities in modern society as such, I want to believe that at least in the civilization that I idealize, life is ahead of monetary value.

In Portugal, at least until the 90s it was normal to offer gifts to doctors - what you produced, potatoes, meat, eggs, wtv. It should be noted that the service is public and the user "does not pay"

Very interesting

I don’t think it’s possible. As long as they can work, someone will part then some amount of bitcoin, which then sets the price of the doctor’s services

Take some sats, start a charity, and help educate people to save in Bitcoin.

Use the charity to contribute to short term medical expenses while enabling people to not need your help in the future.
