Using an intermediary server to help two peers discover each other’s public-facing IP addresses and establish a direct connection.
How private is that? …. I’m assuming it’s a trusted 3rd party deal🤔

I don’t know the full explanation but the third server seems to be used only to create a direct path between the first two
