I’m stealing the molasses idea. My plants deserve dessert too
Good morning nostr, and happy saturday. Today i want to do catch up on both indoor and outdoor projects. I fertilized all the young trees last week, so i need to fertilize all the plants and shrubs today. I like to add dried molasses to my organic fertlizer, to help with soil ativity. As a bonus, i've noticed that molasses helps deter fireants that get into the beds. Sounds counterintuitive, but i've seen it. If you want to listen to a great podcast on organic methods, try South Texas Gardening with Bob Webster. A great, very helpful guy.
