Oof, sorry to hear that. It’s a small enough city that I think you’ll enjoy.

I used to live there so I’ve not stayed in many hotels/resorts much however, I’ve visited some. Depends on taste and budget because ngl, it’s a ridiculously expensive city. I used to live in Versoix so a little Lake Geneva Hotel there is decent but a bit further out. If you want to be much closer to city center, I think Ruby Claire is neat and Tourelle. If you want to go all out lux La Réserve or Hermitage for your resort spa needs.
