- Dr. Spock's son DID NOT kill himself, it was his grandson who had schizophrenia that did
- He ran for President in 1972 on the People's Party ticket and advocated for a MAXIMUM WAGE

TIL that Dr. Benjamin Spock, a pediatrician, wrote the best-selling book of the 20th century, "Baby and Child Care," in 1946. His advice to parents to show affection and see their children as individuals changed how parents raised their kids.
