Fuck being lucky … we were right
But why were we right. Why did we understand
Why is anyone good at anything? Practice and discipline. We kept pushing to learn more. We didn’t just accept the status quo. Day in and day out even when we lost 50%-80% of our value on bad months, we kept learning, and stacking.
Nature, nurture, and personal virtue I think. We lucked out on the first two.
The first time I heard about bitcoin (way too many years after the white paper) I latched onto it immediately. Good on us for figuring it out.
That said, I’d argue it was luck that it was that year and not 5 from now. And I think it’s worth recognizing that as we demonetize everyone else’s savings.

Funny that Bitcoin is the only topic they call you 3 years long dump to then call you lucky for 1 year 😂
