Bloody Benders

The Bender family—John Sr., Elvira, John Jr., and Kate—ran an inn in 1870s Kansas, killing at least 8-11 travelers by bludgeoning them from behind a curtain and slitting throats in a cellar. They targeted wealthy passersby on the Osage Trail, vanishing before capture and leaving bodies on their property.
