People think that those of us who lived through the 1980s loved the big movies; the answer is NO, we saw them as being as plastic and crowd-pandering as the shopping malls or Wall Street jobs. This film is the usual fedposted LARP of being anti-establishment that basically confirms the System view that everyone is a sick whore who needs to be controlled to pacify them lest anyone discover reality. No hope here, and really, kind of a tedious, gross, and sweaty movie.
