If you dca whatever is realistic for your budget, maybe increase your purchase amount on down days.

But even with simple dca instead of spot buying, you are doing quite fine over that four year stretch. People in poverty cant rely on it as usable short term savings but I don't think thats really been accepted as legitimate claim by anyone. What has been accepted is that it's volatile during this period of adoption.

People in poverty can rely on it as unconfiscatable savings and money, one bitcoin is one bitcoin so if your currency could fail, its a revolutionary alternative, regardless of any price analysis during any cherry picked time period.

Of course there is much more to bitcoin than the price.

Part of the "thesis" is to end a fiat world where select people are masters of the money. And to give people an option to have something no one can take, arbitrarily make more of or censor
